Not just ovens: as of 2020 our fixed goal has become fostering sustainable development – that of the company and of the market that rotates around pizza.
ENVIRONMENT, PEOPLE, ECONOMY
Three drivers have catapulted our sustainability:
protecting the environment, people’s well-being, efficiency of the economy.
ETHICS COMMITTEE
At Marana Forni we have created a committee with four members that are transversally involved in the company: production division, administrative division, projects division, and management division.
The plan that we carry forward is clear for all to see: customer satisfaction, legality, work ethics, corporate welfare, and environmental sustainability.
THE UNITED NATIONS AND EUROPE AGENDA
From 2020 onwards we have drawn up a yearly sustainability report, gradually integrating our company objectives with those of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, not to mention with the new European directives.
We have created an Ethical Code of Conduct with the aim to apply it and spread its values in our daily work.
The year 2024 was one in which we began to assess our stakeholders, that is, to understand how the concept of sustainability is interpreted by the parties that gravitate towards our company.
When the company moved into a bigger warehouse, we made the precise commitment to limit disposable material as much as possible, as well as to recycle the production and scrap material as much as possible.
