AVPN CERTIFICATION

Marana Forni has had the privilege of holding the first and only official certification from the AVPN (Real Neapolitan Pizza Association) for a rotary pizza oven since 2023.

This honor was bestowed upon the Rotoforno SU&GIU model. It’s no coincidence that since 1992 this has been the most popular model among Marana Forni’s long-time Neapolitan clients.

Here are some of the main strengths that will facilitate the hands-on work of the pizza-maker: the rotating plate for guaranteeing uniform cooking and the system that raises it, which adjusts the height of the pizza while cooking, as well as the heat control to ensure the temperature is kept constant.

The RNPA says that the SU&GIU rotary oven is a "tool that helps further enhance the professional role of the baker in a world where each ‘artisan’ must know how to meld tradition with innovation".

In the wake of this special recognition, AVPN and Marana Forni started to work together incessantly, inaugurating a training program for youths and new up-and-comers interested in getting into the world of pizza – a program centered around the union of professionalism and outstanding technology.
